Here you'll find the plans for Ben Buckle old timer kits. These are hand drawn, "blue print drawings" . Note, there are often variations in Old-Timer plans. Remember, these designs are from the 30's and 40's and may or may not match with the first ever publication of a model. Often models were published or built in several different sizes. The wingspan is given to help you match up what your looking for. These are the same plan sets you'd get with a Ben Buckle kit and they do their best to reproduce a historically correct model. The Buccaneer Standard is a Bill Effinger design from 1937 and has stood the test of time very well.

The ideal electric model has a light structure and plenty of wing area. The Junior 60 fills the bill admirably. This version will ensure success with electric flight for either the newcomer to the hobby or newcomer to electric flight.
