Futaba Trainer / Buddy Cord Round Plug to Round Plug

While Hitec radios are known to be trainer compatible with other Hitec and Futaba systems, Hitec has determined that the two-way Futaba cord is not 100% compatible with our systems and strongly suggests it not be used at any time. Our tests show that when the Futaba trainer cord is used with a Hitec radio the slave transmitter will emit an RF signal, thus creating a potentially dangerous interference situation, and in some cases will burn up components in the slave and or master radio. Hitec suggests that only the one-way Hitec trainer cord (#58310) be used with Hitec radio systems for training. Failing to do so will void the customers warranty and could create a potentially dangerous situation. Hitec apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of our customers is our utmost concern."

This set will work between two early systems, two late systems (like A9 and Optic) or a mix if early and late systems. All cords and adapters are included.
This is an Airtronics Trainer Cord for SD Series Radios. This trainer cord connects between two Airtronics SD series transmitters, allowing you to train student pilots at your club or local flying field. When the trainer cord is connected, turning on the trainer feature allows the student pilot to control the aircraft and turning off the trainer feature returns control to the instructor. This makes teaching new pilots to fly easier and safer, since there is no need to hand the transmitter back and forth between instructor and student.
This fits between the FM radios with the round DIN plug. Won't work with radios that were shipped as AM but fits every other early model TX. Genuine Futaba Factory Product.
