USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: When using with foam spritz the activator in the air and waft the foam part through the mist. It is recommended only very light applications of accelerator be used. Just a micro dusting of accelerator is all that is needed.
Note, CA adhesives keep a long time in the fridge or freezer. Just be sure to get the glue out an hour or two before you need to open it so it comes up to room temp fully. Buy extra now and lock up the savings.
Unlike other Accelerator products this one causes immediate cure of CA type adhesives without "blooming". How many times have you had CA bloom into mounds of white gritty lumps that are almost impossible to sand flush? Avoid that problem with 1155 type accelerator. High quality pump spray head produces very fine mist of accelerator and allows contents to go a long way. Contains 2 fluid ounces.
Important: Before using on foam, test on scrap piece and use very sparinglyas the heat from CA curing too quickly can damage foam. It's our general reccomendation to use the Mercury product if your working with foams.
Helpful Hint: (added March 25th, 2010) Do not spray accellerators directly on foam as it is difficult to use little enough. Spray into the air and wave one part through the resulting mist. Not all foams can take accelerators thus our longstanding note above about testing on a scrap or shuck from the kit before using on your model. For foam we prefer Mercury and Flash activators as they are reccomended by the MFGs for foams.
