GWS Direct Drive motor system with Prop EDP20-(A,B)
Small GWS Direct drive unit. Overall length of motor and prop shaft is ~7/8". The only difference in "A" & "B" is prop size. "A" package comes with a 2.5x.8 prop, at 7.2V draws just .68 amps at 30g thrust. 4.89 watts of power, 6.12 grams static thrust per watt. The "B" package includes a 2.5x1 prop drawing .76 amps at 7.2V,32g thrust, 5.47 watts, 5.84g thrust per watt.
GWS Direct Drive EDP50-XC motor system with two 3-2 props
The same motor as used in an IPS drive just without pinion. This motor will draw about 1.6 amps on a 2S lipo and 3-2 prop. This package includes the motor and 2 props. 11.95 watts of power, About 60 grams (2.15oz) of static thrust. (5.02 grams static thrust per watt). Models in the 3 to 5oz weight with around 60-120 square inches of wing area are popular for this system others outside this range might work well also. A good replacement for glow motors in the .010 to .020 range.

The MMG-1 geared motor system is designed for lightweight models. This motor system is limited to a maximum of 6-cell NiCad battery packs, or 7-cell NiMH battery packs. 2S Lipo packs are also reccomended. More voltage draw will damage the motor. Includes a 7 x 6 1/4 black molded plastic prop. 4.8:1 geared system for 9-10 oz. sized models. This motor system is useful for many small park fliers. It is the original motor for the MM Glider Tech Lil-Hornet, a small wing and stick fuse fun flying aerobatic model. The Lil-Hornet was the very first non-floater aerobatic type park flier model ever commercially produced. This motor system and the model it is associated with is of historic merit.
These little 50XC motors are fantastic for electrifying your foamy creations and many department store hand toss models just begging to be electrified. These are low voltage motors removed from geared systems. Dick in our shop runs these on 2 or 3S with the GWS 3-2, 3-3 or 4x2.5 prop for small high speed monsters. You must wire the motors in series and use them in pairs for the voltage to be correct. This would be an excellent choice for our Mini-Hunter and other similar sized models. Get a great twin setup here on the cheap! Each motor has wire and cap installed. Includes 2 each 12mm red dot GWS motors and a pair of press-on 3-3 props.
You can build some fun models around brushed motors. Especially when the modern class of e-flyers know it just can't work. No way. Really, they can't figure it out. Here are some setups for a very fun high RPM motor. Don't tell them how you did it.
