Fits Himax 50 series outrunners and many others. Motor plate is drilled for 4 bolt pattern of 30mm diameter. This is a most common mounting pattern in motors of this class such as Himax 50, Model Motors AXI 41 Series and many others. Standoffs provided in 2 different length rod sets (2" and 2.5") to aid your setup. High impact plastic base plate supports ends of standoffs against firewall to a solid and rugged mounting system.

Many earlier kits intended for stick mounts were made for gearbox motors. If you use an outrunner in one of these models, the motor shaft will exit cowling in the wrong spot looking silly and probably flying poorly. Outrunners require the stick to be further offset from the intend motor shaft location. This mount system allows you to offset the stick to either side of the typical crop of park flyer sized 28mm series motors. I oiriginally designed this part so we could get an outrunner into a GWS Tiger Moth 400 without doing surgery on the foam fuse. In this case, I'm offsetting the motor stick below the motor. Optional side plates are provided so that you can get the shaft on either side of the original motor stick location. Also, the side plates have oval holes so you can make adjustments to motor thrust line and adjustment to cowling exit location for the shaft on one dimension. Sounds complex, but it's really just 4 simple parts bolted together. Comes with drawing and instructions. Great way to update older designed molded foam kits.

Made in the USA ABS/Nylon blend outrunner motor mount. Provides a strong, affordable and lightweight solution for mounting your outrunner motor to any 10mm x 10mm stick. Works with a wide selection of outrunners and includes (4) 3mm x 4mm screws to easily mount the motor. Mounting holes are slotted to allow a fit for a variety of motors. Mount has 4 slotted mounting holes and will accept from 15.7mm to 23.3mm diameter bolt pattern which covers most motors made 22-28mm OD. Mount ID (where rear mounted motor would fit) is 30.5mm. Mount is already notched for outrunner wire exit. A nice touch! We stock all colors.

It's helpful if you pick two colors so if we are out of one we can still speed your order along without delay. Of course we always try to keep plenty of all colors in stock so you can get the flavor you like best.
Use between heat sink and motor for better thermal contact. Due to surface imperfections, the heats sink is usually only touching the motor case in a few locations. The balance of the area is filled with a thin film of air. The compound is designed to fill this gap and conduct heat more rapidly than air. When you heat sink is in better contact, your motor will run even cooler. The compound is not electronically conductive. Use in a think layer, the ideal is fill the would-be air gap, not to hold the sink off the motors surface.
