New Batteries??
Did you know that most battery manufacturers of NiCd and NiMH cells skip the last and very important manufacturing step? This step is called the FORMING CHARGE and completes the chemical processes within the battery. It takes 24 hours and cannot be rushed. That makes it expensive and ties up a lot of manufacturing capacity so it is usually skipped and left up to the consumer.
FORMING also assures that each cell in a pack starts off completely full so it can add the most to the battery cell "team effort". Without FORMING, a new NiCd or NiMH battery may only achieve 40% to 50% of it’s rated capacity initially, and may never reach it’s full potential.
Why fly like that?
The new Sirius Pro Former by Peak Electronics is especially designed to properly FORM new NiCd and NiMH cells from 10 mAh to 5,500 mAh. Also great as an overnight slow charger.
Just attach a 12 volt supply, select your battery capacity and plug in your 1 to 8 cells battery pack. After 24 hours, your new pack will be completely formed and ready for 3 to 5 fast charge cycles. It will then be capable of achieving all the performance the manufacturer designed in, but didn’t take the time to build in.

This amazing and simple device converts your existing NiMH and NiCad radio wall chargers into a trickle rate charger. You simply set the switch up in the "Standard" position after a day of flying. After an overnight charger you flip the switch to trickle. Now your charger is working at 1/2 rate which is a great trickle rate. One EXCEPTIONAL feature of this unit is when set to trickle the output is about 25mah making your wall charger a great overnight unit to charge our smaller RX packs in the 250 to 400mah range. This is one handly tool you'll find you use all the time. Unit has 3 ports to handle 3 chargers and is rated up to 20 watts. LED Indicated Trickle mode so you always know what your doing.

Port 1 is 4.8V 60mah or 6V 50mah. Port 2 is 4.8V 130mah or 6V 100mah. Great if you have a model with a larger than normal pack. Remember for NiCad and NiMH cells not to exceed a charge rate of 10% of the cells total capacity. Lower is ok. Example, if you have a 1300mah or larger 4.8V pack you would charge it on port 2. An 900mah pack 4.8 or 6V would have to be charged on port 1. Charge two different size receiver packs at same time. Comes with pre-soldered wire tips ready for your connectors. Great little wall charger with 3 way plug for your transmitters(Futaba, Hitec/Airtronics or JR) and a receiver charger with a universal connector. 3-Way universal transmitter output plug:Yellow tip is JR, Opposite-black is Hitec/Airtronics and middle-black is Futaba. Rx plug is universal also.
Input 115V 60Hz. Output Rx = 6.0V 125mA or 4.8V 150mA, Tx = 9.6V 90mA.
Note: To use this charger your TX pack should be at least 900mah or larger in size. The RX pack needs to be 1500mah or greater for 4.8V and 125mah or greater for 6V packs. This is in order to not violate the rule of never charging over 10% of cell capacity when using a non-terminated charger.
