The Micro Stick is hot at full throttle, faster than you'd expect, yet the wing loading is that of an indoor flyer. Weighing in at only 3oz, it's hard to believe it only needs your typical park flier gear. 2-3 .2oz or lighter servos and micro RX. Run motor systems capable of 14 watts or more turning a 3-4" prop. ESC to match and any 350 to 750 2S lipo pack works well. The prop reamer below is suggested as the GWS 3-2 & 3-3 props intended to press onto 1.5mm motors like the 50XC brushed or RRC 12mm Brushless Inrunner listed below. Your sure to have fun with this little beast.
Note, Updated to V2 style in 2007. All Micro Sticks now have space frame formers, landing gear plate (for optional landing gear if you like), tail weight/material reduction, larger magnets, front wing centering pin, formerless battery floor and overall even more rugged.
1/20/2005 Hi folks, got the package today. Super. My wife and I put the plane together in about fifteen minutes (no glue, just for fun). I kept saying "this is amazing, how well the pieces fit and how easy it is to build". The most incredible part was how strong the wing was with no glue. Just the pieces snapped into place.
