GF Nylon Spinners have light weight aluminum back plate. No special prop nut or adapter is required. Spinner is held to back plate with two attachment screws. Machined groove supports edge of spinner. Back plate is knurled on both sides to grip both your prop and prop adapter making it easier to tighten than other spinners of this style. A123 Systems/LithiumWerks Nanophosphate 2S 1100mah Pack 2-#18650 Cells. These batteries are capable of 30C constant discharge, with a 10 second pulse rating of 60C. Cycle up to 1000 times before significant capacity loss occurs. The rugged assembly of the products will ensure that your pack will last for years, not months. Can be repeatably charged to 100% in 15 minutes. This is the nano phosphate technology the automobile companies are testing on their future hybrid vehicles. Standard shape is Flat (side by side) as shown in photo. Stick packs may also be constructed as a "Stick" for narrow use.
Charge only with Lithium chargers with an A123/LithiumWerks mode limiting charge voltage to 3.6V per cell. An Astro Blinky for A123/LithiumWerks is highly recommended as a balancing aid for these cells.
Like all Sig Kadets, the LT-40 behaves perfectly in flight, with true "hands off" stability on all axis. If the student pilot gets disoriented, simply let go of the control sticks and the LT-40 will recover itself and return to level flight within seconds.
Because the Kadet LT-40 is bigger than the average .40 size trainer, it has a much lighter wing loading, which lets it fly slower! Slower speed gives the student pilot more time to think and react to what the model is doing, thus making it easier to learn to fly R/C. Every major part of this kit has been pre-shaped, sawn, die-cut, laser-cut, routed, or whatever it takes to make it ready-to-install right out of the box.
Setups below would be my first picks depending on your purpose for the model. If your trying to learn or train a beginner, or just want a mild model with enough power to get out of trouble, pick setup around 1000 to 1400 foot per minute climb rate (fpm). An expert can do quite nice aerobatics on 1000 fpm, 1400 fpm and above is enough for first season pilots. Setups 2000 fpm and higher is agressive power.

We packed as much brute power and intelligence into this tiny layout as we possibly could and came up with a 15 amp* controller with ability to sustain an 8 amp BEC! Fast, but not too fast. Maneuverable, but not tricky. A snap to build and surprisingly rugged compared to most. The original Sunday Fighters were the brainchild of Ken Willard back in the early 1970's. His were small, .049 powered 3-channel models and proved quite popular. Now, we've taken this idea, enlarged, and re-engineered them to make them as much fun to build as they are to fly.

Because of the interlocking design and high quality laser cutting of the parts, the Sunday Fighter is a quick build. Not only does it build quick, but it also builds straight and true as all of the parts are designed to align properly with a minimum of fuss and alignment tools.
The wings are removable for storage/transport and for giving access to the extra large cabin area. From there you have easy access to install most any brand of radio and control linkages. However, the fully assembled model can fit in the trunk of most mid-sized cars.
Up-front, we've designed in a hatch that covers the battery/tank compartment. This area will easily handle 3s packs and 6 ounce tanks.
