This is a true scale model that happens to be a perfect park flyer. The Husky is a Float and Bush Plane Pilot's dream. Build as Float or Tundra Tire version. Float kit included.
The kit is designed using CAD-technology and the parts are Laser cut for a perfect fit. It is a self jigging design using balsa and plywood which makes it both easy to build and repair. Most parts are interlocking like a jigsaw puzzle. Vacuum formed windshield, cowling and spinner are included. Decals are also included.
This model is recommended to the average builder/pilot with experience from a couple of models before. The kit takes about 20 hours to complete. Note, there are over 350 "LASER" cut parts in this kit. This kit represents a "Peak" in laser technology never before attained. Flying qualities are excellent, like the full sized Husky you'll be making coordinated turns. The kit is designed with ailerons but it flies just fine with rudder.

The RLC version of this motor system has the 4.8V motor and is intended for use with 2-4 cell NiMH, NiCad or 1 Cell Lipo battery packs. Follow GWS prop selection recommendations to keep amps at 2 or less for best life out of these systems. This is the same "size" motor as the famous IPS drive except the lower voltage ducted fan motor and a lighter weight gearbox. We suggest you order an extra shaft or two in our GWS motor system parts section as the 2mm shaft can be bent in a crash easily.
It is possible to run this motor system on 2S lipo packs but smaller props must be used than those listed in the GWS site for the lower voltages. Use your Watt Meter to test, keep amps at 2 or less.
