Geared inrunners can have superior power and efficeincy over outrunners at very favorable weights. Additionally because you can change the gear ratio, many combinations can be acheived making one motor useful over a much wider range of models. Inrunners waste less energy in the form of heat because the windings (the copper) are much shorter thereby getting more of your batteries stored energy to the prop. Designed for low-weight, high efficiency and durability. The HG2015 series gear motors for models ranging generally from 8oz. to 30oz. Depending on gear ratio, battery and prop, this motor can replace anything from a 150 to a 480 type motor.
