The plywood is offered in 6 by 12 inch sheets across a range of thicknesses, including 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8 inch. Thinner sheets bend more easily for doublers and formers, while the heavier gauges suit high-load parts that take stress from the motor or gear. Plywood also resists splitting better than solid wood across its layers, which is why it shows up wherever screws or joiners load the grain.
