DESCRIPTION: Mercury MTL425B Brush-in-Cap Thread locker is a general purpose, medium-high strength, thixotropic anaerobic thread locker. The product cures when confined in the absence of air on close-fitting metal surfaces.

APPLICATIONS: Mercury has revolutionized the threadlocker industry by introducing the first Brush-in-Cap designed bottle for a cleaner application to small nuts and bolts. The bottle itself contains a small applicator brush attached to the cap. This design allows for very precise application of threadlocker to your project.

The MTL425B is formulated to lock all metric and imperial nuts and bolts, preventing vibration loosening and leakage through the threads. MTL425B is slightly oil tolerant, so it will bond some 'as received' parts, but best results are obtained with clean substrates. The thixotropic nature of the product prevents run off, dripping and migration after assembly. MTL425B is typically used on mounting bolts, housing screws, etc. MTL425B prevents corrosion of assembly parts.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: The higher viscosity material can create a thick film when bonding uneven surfaces or large gaps.
