Great cell for micro RX packs, DLG's etc... Normally used in the 1.5 to 3 amp range but has applications up to 4.5 amps. S-280 and below generally. 2/3 long AAA diameter cell.
Most popular cell for S-280 and S-300 machines. Ultra long duration for GWS IPS powered ships like the Pico Stick and Tiger Moth. Perfect in 8 cell packs for Zero, Mustang and Beaver. Normally used in the 3 to 6 amp range but has applications up to 8 amps for short burst in fun-fly models. NOT for S-400, although I have used one with a lower current 7.2V S-400 setup previously. AA size cell. Perfect to build your RX and TX packs. Some uses for S-400, up to 14 amp range though not common. It is the same size as any "AA" cell, but with flat ends instead of button end. We carry these for those that desire to build their own custom soldered packs. The flat ends make it much easier to solder. These may function in some digital camera and similar devices but they may not due to missing "button". Manufacturers listed internal resistance is 25mΩ.
AA size cell. Perfect cell to where you need to plug into battery holders and get contact. This button end cell is the same shape as any Alkaline but a good quality rechargable NiMH. Great for dry cell transmitters/ camera's, etc......
Sanyo 2500mah Single Cell NIMH Button End AA Battery
Sanyo single cell Ultra high capacity AA battery. Weight 30.3g, 1.07oz. Sanyo AA HR6 size cell. Button end cell.
Unlike Sanyo's other NiMH cells, these ultra high capacity AA cells should never be fast charged EVER. We reccomend 70mah (or less) wall chargers (very slow overnight charging) only. Suggestest maintainance charge rate 50-70mah. Manufacturers listed internal resistance is 25mΩ.
Elite SC-5000mah single cell NiMH. Dimensions: 43x23mm/1.69"x.91", Weight: 69.2g/2.4oz; Size: Sub C, May fit your screw-apart glow drivers (see notes below). Our most powerful Sub C size NiMH single cell.
Special Glow Driver use notes: Some glow drivers are smaller inside than others. These cells are double shrunk, removing outer layer of clear shrink takes off about .008" making od around .901 (22.88mm). Removing the inner printed layer of shrink gets the OD down to about .895" (22.733mm). The OD of the trusty CP2400 Nicad cell is about .877" (22.276mm). Measure the ID of your glow driver before ordering to be sure it will fit. Any cell may be run without shrink in aluminum glow drivers. Note date 01/04/12.
Suggested charge rate non-peak detecting 350mah or less, peak detecting .5 to 4 amps.
(RX power wired packs are limited to 4 amps charge rate due to connector pins, the cell could sustain up to 10 amp peak charge rate with correct form charging, wiring and plugs.
