The RLC version of this motor system has the 4.8V motor and is intended for use with 2-4 cell NiMH, NiCad or 1 Cell Lipo battery packs. Follow GWS prop selection recommendations to keep amps at 2 or less for best life out of these systems. This is the same "size" motor as the famous IPS drive except the lower voltage ducted fan motor and a lighter weight gearbox. We suggest you order an extra shaft or two in our GWS motor system parts section as the 2mm shaft can be bent in a crash easily. It is possible to run this motor system on 2S lipo packs but smaller props must be used than those listed in the GWS site for the lower voltages. Use your Watt Meter to test, keep amps at 2 or less.
