RC Airplane Cowls
A cowl shapes the nose of a scale model and hides the working parts behind a finished profile, and this category gathers cowls in two very different styles to suit a range of projects. The choice comes down to the look and the model you are building.
Spun Aluminum Cowls
Flair spun aluminum cowls bring a polished metal finish to vintage and scale subjects, with shapes made for models like the Baronette, the Fokker DR1 and Hannibal, and the Puppeteer and Legionare. The spun metal look suits classic aircraft especially well.
Molded GWS Cowlings
On the lighter side, GWS molded cowlings fit popular park flyer subjects including the Zero, the C47, and the E-Starter. These lightweight cowlings match their airframes and keep nose weight low, which helps a small electric model hold its balance and fly the way it was designed to.
