120 degree V-Tail Mounting Kit. Precision, laser cut quick build kit. She'll fly like an Angle but won't look like everybody else's hound after making this mod. The V tail is made from just one stock Horizontal stabilizer cut in 1/2. A slight V notch needs to be crafted in the elevator portion as shown in the photo. Comes with nice light weight nylon hardware. You'll need a radio with "Elevon" mixing (or open mixes available) to get both controls on the right stick (mode 2 for us Yankees). If your radio lacks this feature it is available on our site as a carry onboard electronic device.
Of course, you'll want a real tail wheel mount or go tricycle gear like I did. These parts go nicely with the V tail mount and are available in this category.

Our Raider is not just another Stik. It's a Stik with options!
The year was 1965. Phil Kraft, the man behind Kraft radios, needed a model that was quick and easy-to-build as a testbed for his radios. Little did he know he would design one of the most renowned models of all time - the Ugly Stik. Our Raider is part of our new Pirate Stik line, and it's based on Phil's proven design - with the same dimensions, airfoil, and great flying characteristics.
We have completely updated the airframe with laser-cut and self-aligning parts - we even include a wing jig to help you easily build both wing halves. The fuselage is built around a self-aligning, light-weight box for added strength. Surrounding this is the outer balsa skin, which is strong, lightweight, and twist-resistant even when performing high-stress maneuvers. The balsa/ply airframe makes the Raider an uncomplicated, lightweight, and easy-to-build aerobat.
The wing is removable, giving access to the extra-large cabin area. From there, you have easy access to install most any brand of radio and control linkages. We've also designed in a large hatch that covers the spacious battery/tank compartment.
What's more, you have options right out of the box.
Power it with Glow, Gas, or Electric.
Ailerons and elevator can have Straight or traditional Scalloped edges.
Make it a Tri-cycle or Tail-Dragger.
You can even incorporate Flaps for even slower flight.
The best way to describe the Raider in the air is wide-ranging. With low throws and power, it can easily be used as an intermediate trainer. With average throws and power, it becomes a great every-day sport airplane. And with higher power and throws, the Raider becomes a great fun-fly machine, even capable of some precision aerobatics in the hands of an experienced pilot.
Our Old School Model Work's Raider is a Senior Pattern Association and Vintage R/C Society legal design for vintage and retro pattern competitions.

We use this part when we want to put the axle directly over or under the boom (May be flipped up or down to get high or low axle). Used in our offset boom FPV prototype. Now available to you for whatever you'd like. Setup for 3/32 wire (Part # KS506), can be drilled larger. For larger spreads, larger wire is a must. In photo we drilled axle holes out to 1/8". We used 11" long axle wire (music wire) and 3" Maxx Products (MPIEPW300) wheels in the photo. Use wheel collar to lock axle in place in gear mount.
Although it is possible for the axle to turn in the mount, it is intended to be snug fit and the wheels to turn on the axle. Glued together with thin CA. The photo's unit was built and painted black with a permanent marker for that "I'm too poor to make this in real carbon" look. This item is the laser cut wood kit to make the Axle Gear Mounting block as shown. Axle (made from music wire KS506), wheel collars (Part # DUB138) and wheels are shown in photo in order to illustrate product use but are not included.
Use this part in conjunction with pusher mount, nose gear block, battery tray(s) to make a 3 wheel air car! I think this might be my next project. ;-)
Need repair parts? Get 1/2 a wing mount set here. The riser is the vertical leg set (4 parts) that fix the distance from boom to wing mount surface. The Perch sets dihedral angle, is the mount surface, rubber band pegs, and the horizontal parts that fit between the risers to form a box to slip over the boom. SKU Number: RRCSSWMPARTS****
FDK (formerly Sanyo). Most popular cell for S-280 and S-300 machines. Ultra long duration for GWS IPS powered ships like the Pico Stick and Tiger Moth. Perfect in 8 cell packs for Zero, Mustang and Beaver. Normally used in the 3 to 6 amp range but has applications up to 8 amps for short burst in fun-fly models. NOT for S-400, although I have used one with a lower current 7.2V S-400 setup previously. AAA size cell. Manufacturers listed internal resistance is 35mohm.

The Sig Kadet LT-40 has become the R/C trainer of choice at many club fields. Not long after it's introduction, we started getting requests for a smaller version of the same airplane. So here it is - a compact version of the LT-40 - the new Sig Kadet LT-25. When price shopping this kit, be sure you understand our super low flat rate shipping means total cost to your door is probably the lowest on the planet.
"The R/C Trainer That's All Laser Cut", As you would expect, the new LT-25 inherits all the same gentle flying characteristics of the other legendary Sig Kadets. It has the same light wing loading, which allows it to fly slow enough to give the student pilot time to think and react. It has the same "hands off" stability on all axis. If the student pilot gets disorientated, simply let go of the sticks and the LT-25 will recover and return to level flight within seconds.

The Stevens AeroModel SQuiRT provides a solid platform for your student pilot to learn on. Speed 400 Primary Trainer for 3ch. Simple one evening construction allows you to get airborne quickly. Innovative shock absorbing gear and wing mounting system make crash damage exceptionally rare. In-fact, we have found this model to out perform any foamy in it's class in terms of flight performance and ruggedness. Rugged doesn't have to mean overweight as our 38" span Squirt weighs in at a lean 13.5-14oz with a 1500mah lipo and well under 16oz with a KAN 650 7 cell NIMH.
Thoughtful design and innovative beginner friendly features abound. Tab and notch construction makes building a straight and true wing and fuselage as easy as pouring as gluing your fingers together! The kit includes a full hardware pack loaded with high quality Du-Bro hardware, Wheels, Full-Size Plan Sheet, Pre-Bent Landing gear, a detailed step by step photo illustrated instruction manual, the kit even includes an excerpt on primary aerobatics derived under license from the RC Pilot Guide written by Scott M. Stoops.
Flying the Squirt is a great pleasure even in windy conditions that will send the other slow fliers packing. Additionally, the positive stability of this model allows the instructor to trim for level flight and hand over the controls to the student pilot. If the pilot looses control all that is necessary to regain control is reduce power and center the sticks - The Squirt will rapidly return to level flight!
Specifications:
Wing span 38 in.
Wing area 260 in.2
Flying Weight 15 oz.
3-channel (RET)
To Complete the Kit:
1 Roll of covering
Thin and Thick CA glue
Required Radio Gear (our suggestion):
2 each sub-micro servos 8-10g (Hitec HS-55 or similar)
one 3-4ch receiver (GWS R4PII or similar)
10a esc (Castle Pixie 20P or similar)
Motor:
Designed for direct drive Speed 400 power systems. The kit includes a stick mount for the GWS Speed 300/350 power system, however we suggest that beginners take advantage of the GWS EDP400 direct drive system Battery: 1000 to 2100mAh 7.4v LiPo pack or KAN 650-950 2/3AA 8.4v NIMH (heavier).
Some of the above setup suggestions may be outdated, look for similar up to date items.
If your using 6mm depron (.236") to make your own custom stabs / orientation fins, this is the right mount for you. Allows the stab to be mounted on the center of the boom. If your using a stock Slow stick tail boom, the bolt pattern already matches for you. 4-40 bolts will thread directly into holes in the base plate. Side holes are provided in case you want to use pins or screws to secure your fin. A jig is provided to assure it's put together squarely. Use thin CA to glue together. SKU Number: RRCQCVSM6
The stock gear is a little too flexible for the models weight. When you add a larger pack, bigger motor or camera, now you're really in trouble. This mount can be used in a tail dragger or tricycle gear model. Wire size is 3/32 or .094 (Part # KS506). Just one size bigger makes all the difference in the world. Wire is locked into the gear mount with simple wire ties. Lock mount into position on your Fuse Boom anywhere you like with a dab of adhesive. Now you can do touch and goes, even bang the ground a little bit without failure. Kit comes wood (4 parts only) and wire ties. Plan for bending wire (purchase wire at your Local Hobby Shop) is included. Same well proven landing gear system used in our line of fine laser cut kits. Note, we love the Millennium R/C gear also, my personal models use both types, I can't choose which I like best. Suggest also ordering part # DUB138 wheel collars to hold on your wheels.
Use these tabs to mount your own special projects. Get a good fit the easy way! Made from 3/32" thick (2.5mm) aircraft grade plywood. Great for uses such as mounting cameras, drop box's, custom battery trays, flux capacitors and etc.... Each package includes 4 tabs. SKU Number: RRCSSMTAGL
And you thought the story about aliens at Wright Patt was just a conspiracy theory? At long last, a durable light weight quad copter airframe kit. This kit makes use of basic 10mm square carbon, fiberglass or aluminum tubes. All of our 10mm boom based Slow Stick hopups such as servo mounts, battery tray's, gear mounts and etc.... are compatible with our Quad Copter Designers Kit.
By making use of different motor systems and different boom lengths, you can make a quad of any size you like up to 1 meter (39") frame OD...............
Use these tabs to mount your own special projects. Get a good fit the easy way! Made from 3/32" thick (2.5mm) aircraft grade plywood. Great for uses such as mounting cameras, drop box's, custom battery trays, alien gravity variometers and etc.... Each package includes 4 tabs. SKU Number: RRCSSMTSTR8
Our second Quad kit. This kit is characterized by all booms being on the same level. Construction is sandwich style. Motor mounts incorporate both our standard 1/16" bent wire gear and optional vertical leg 3/32" music wire or 2.5mm carbon rod (Secures easily with Dubro wheel collar). Un-bent wire is provided for the .062" bent wire option. This air frame kit is a little lower profile than the Quad Designers Kit and a slightly higher weight. Although, it's quite lite and sporty.
By making use of different motor systems and different boom lengths, you can make a quad of any size you like within reason. Our motor mounts are light enough for small outrunners and strong enough for even 28mm size outrunners. You can use this kit as the basis of many special projects. Kit is compatible with all our accessories and based on 10mm booms.
The center platform is 5" in diameter. Each motor mount surface is 1 9/16" (39.7mm) wide and on the same plane as the center component platform. All required parts are included to attach a battery pack mount on top or bottom of platform. Additionally for a clean look, mounts battery placement on bottom sandwich of center pod are provided for both X and + flying configuration. Mounts for auxiliary booms are provide if for example you wish to mount an orientation tail fin or place a gimbled camera on a boom between the motor booms. Wire for landing gear is provided. The gear is mounted on the motor mounts. A bending plan is provided. The kit may be configured for flying in either On-Axis (Cruciform or +) or Off Axis (Racecar or X) configuration.
What you get: All parts for center platform including main boom and auxiliary boom mounts, 4 motor mounts, battery straps, fasteners/stand offs, wire and bending plan for landing gear.
What you need to add: 10mm square arm material (GWS Slow Stick Boom Kits and woody options are listed here), 4 motors, 4 speed controls, stabilizer board of your choice, battery to match (usually 3S 1500-2100) and receiver.
Note, we don't offer control boards for multi rotors at this time. If you want to fly a Quad, you're going to have to figure all the electronics out for yourself. For now, we are offering air-frame kits and accessories.
Same notes as short and long trays except the Uber Long tray holds anything up to 9.25". Provides extra mounting surface for other goodies if you like. Long enough in many cases to provide alternate battery mounting locations if you alter the configuration of your ship from flight to flight. Weight: 18.2g/0.64oz. SKU Number: RRCSSBTUL
Same adjustable thrust line motor mount with built in nose gear mounting block. 2 parts built into one with advantage of getting the nose gear further forward for more stability. Nose gear is bent to any length desired from 3/32 music wire which you provide. Wheel collars (DUB138 suggested) and wheel not included. I used a spare 1 1/4" long 4-40 socked head cap screw as a tiller arm replacing the setscrew that secures your bent gear wire into the pillow blocks. A section of fuel line to bind a push-rod to the tiller arm. All other fasteners included. See out standard nose gear block for another photo of this hardware setup.
Warbird Main Gear Mount. Most any WWII Theme model you build will need the main gear mounted to the wing in order to look right. (Can you believe what I'm suggesting? ;-) ) Shown here used on our shop Wart Hog theme model.
Like many of our parts, this one may be reconfigured easly by simply flipping parts for tail dragger or tricycle configuration. Tricycle shown. 3/32 Music wire (Part# KS506) was bent to shape, bend any height you want. Wire may come down from inside or outside edge of mount to allow for a variety of gear widths depending on the look your going for. Suggest wheels collars Part # DUB138 to hold your wheels on.
The Slow Stick wings and glass fiber rods support both front and back where we have it banded on in the photo. Takes landing loads quite well. The look generated along with your likely use of low wing moutning set and aileron kit (both available in this category) will have everybody thinking you must be flying some new just released super model.
This compact version of the KADET SENIORITA is designed for modelers who have a small car or apartment-size workshop. The SENIORITA features the same forgiving flight characteristics of the larger SENIOR, but in a smaller package.
Both the KADET SENIOR and KADET SENIORITA are also popular with experienced fliers who are tired of the nerve racking panic that can accompany a faster model. The KADET SENIORITA flies so slowly and gently that just about anyone can handle it on their very first try! If the student pilot gets confused, merely let go of the control sticks and the KADET SENIORITA will recover itself and return back to level flight.

The Stevens AeroModel BuzzBomb(TM) (400) is modern twist on the vintage free-flight classic Buzzard Bombshell - redesigned to build upon the flight qualities of the vintage Buzzard while modernizing the airframe to enhance performance for electric radio control flight. The Stevens AeroModel Buzz 400 is most at home flying eye-level sorties over the bean field or ball diamond - we dare you not to make motor noises as she passes by! The Buzz 400 also features a fantastic glide and retains energy well allowing it to soar well in light morning and evening lift. Slow enough to fly from the cul-de-sac yet big enough that it doesn't get lost at the club flying field, light enough to thermal with the best of them and tough enough to handle beginning pilots; we are confident that hobbyists of all experience levels will spend many enjoyable hours on the sticks of the Buzz 400.
