Note: Power supplies take standard PC type power cords. Most people have 3 or 4 in a drawer somewhere just waiting to be recycled to a good use. This is an excellent place to employ one of the extra cords you've been saving. If you need one, please choose in the drop down below. The 18 gauge cord is light duty and should not be used if you'll be taxing this power supply above 20 amps. The 14 AWG cord is a heavy duty server grade cord and will run cool as a cucumber even when you've got this unit maxed out. Both are 6 feet long.

12V Power Supplies for the Charging Bench
Most RC chargers run on 12 volts, so a bench power supply that converts 110V household AC to 12V DC is a common need for anyone charging at home rather than at the field. This category collects Doc Brown's power supplies built for that job.
Amperage Ratings
Output current sets how many chargers or how large a pack you can run at once, and these supplies span a range: 32 amp, 47 amp, and 70 amp models are offered, along with a 47 amp version fitted with a deluxe output panel.
For higher-voltage needs there is also a 24V unit that provides two independent 47 amp 12V ports, useful when a charger calls for a higher input or when running two circuits at once. Match the supply's amperage to the total draw of the chargers you plan to run at the same time.
