Is There Anybody Left This Cool?

Reagan understood. The forces of collectivism deserve only ridicule. Do you have as much courage? Make a difference, do something about it. Remember a real patiot to Liberty.

Shale We Allow Our Property Rights to Evaporate?

It’s by slow increments we give away our Liberty. Next time you are thinking of voting in a little more power, a transfer of money to those voting against you, a new tax, more zoning, more inspections etc. Next time you are considering voting in any more authority for government, smack yourself awake. Our very right of private property is under attack. And, it’s under attack by us. The perceived benefits of more regulation is always much greater than reality. Don’t get sucked into this ideology, an ideology of force that says others know better than you whats best for you. When you vote others more power over you, in effect you are enslaving yourself to their ideas ahead of your own. It’s a symptom of collectivism where we are each enslaved to each other. What happened to the American individualist? The respect of Liberty?

For some reason, a reload my be required to get the embedded video to show up.

I think he should go ahead with the pigs & Paint the house pink. Objectors to Liberty need to be stood up to. We need to give them what they deserve. Yes, I said deserve.

Magazine Myths Debunked

An interesting demonstration clarifying some important myths perpetrated about magazine capacity.

Sheriff’s swear and oath to protect the Constitution. I am thankful this oath taker is serious and is taking the time to demonstrate some important points to us.

South Dakota Respects Liberty, Defends Children From “Safety through Weakness” Zealots.

A terrible injustice against our educational employee’s, administrators, school children and Liberty is slowly being broken down. Why do so many have to die before we examine the religion of “safety through weakness”? In the past, there have been those who were nearly universally successful in establishing law and practices Objecting to Liberty. In collusion with those who objectors, your employees, our lawmakers have created freedom and Liberty exclusion zones on your very own property. Public property, YOUR PROPERTY, where some citizens are not permitted to be fully free citizens. South Dakota has decided to break the hold of those that would use force to impose their cult of “safety through weakness” upon free American citizens. The objectors to Liberty have been dealt a blow. Let us continue our struggle against this alternate form of government and bankrupt philosophy. We are America, built by strong Individualists, we are Liberated, we are Free and none of those advances for mankind arose from weakness or bending to the wind of evil.

I applaud the citizens of South Dakota for pushing this important step through into law. A step back in the direction of Liberty. The fight is not over until even this law and it’s exceptions to Liberty is fully replaced across land with a simple notation respecting fully; “……the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

American’s Live by Force or Persuasion?

Rand Paul explains Liberty to one of Liberty Objectors, Mrs. Hogan.

Step by step they we are crushed under the forceful heal of “do gooders”. I believe in voluntary exchange and Liberty. Perhaps we as taxpayers could save money and be better served by eliminating this Objector to Liberty? We win twice when we take one of these people and prevent them from being a net tax consumer and “allow” them to become a net tax payer.

Can we get our noses out of other peoples business? I wonder what it costs us to have this person butting into everybody’s life. Realize she does it at OUR request and at OUR expense. Tired of paying for your own whipping yet?

Excellent Podcast: The Stratosphere Lounge – Speed and Angle

I’ve got some mixed reasons for liking this guy and his podcast. He is an avid aviation and space buff. He’s also a science fiction movie buff. Outside of this show, he’s a commentator on maters of liberty. His show “The Stratosphere Lounge” contains some of that but has a lot of personal interest content.

After a short housekeeping talk about his recent videos, he covers his experiences with full scale engine failures and emergency landings, full scale sailplane experiences and idiots promoting train service over cheaper faster existing air service. I’m not against trains, the conversation is an interesting tie in to aviation. This episode contains good aviation related stories and thoughts.

This show’s format is a live recorded UStream video/audio where he’s commenting on live chat and whatever else is on his mind. Clearly a more personal project for this professional.

The Stratosphere Lounge has bubbled up among my favorite online radio/tv shows to take in. Who needs cable?

Introducing George Will

Video streaming by Ustream

What an amazing and entertaining speech delivery by George will at the 2010 CPAC conference. The ideal of liberty offends many and most do not understand the term at all. A very funny speech for which you’ll laugh and realize all at the same time sense the underlying sadness.

Speaking to the choir resembles 1/2 time locker room enthusiasm building. I hope by introducing you to some of the worlds greatest minds, greatest proponents of freedom and liberty that we’ll together be able to reduce the fires that burn against freedom to mere smoldering embers. It is impossible to put out this fire, but it is possible to care that it does not spread and that people learn to move their belongings far from the source of ignition.

I encourage you to have the courage to speak outside your choir. It’s easy once you’ve tried, just do it.

My name is Dave Thacker and I’m doing something about it.

American Dream

Great animation telling the history of Monday and threats to our freedom and independence. It’s inescapable, we’ve slid way down the hill. I am unsure if it can be turned around or perhaps the best we can do is stick our feet through the floorboards and slow it down.

Is Capiltolism Humane?

Another great talk given my Milton Friedman. What are the results of various systems of government? This talk was given before socialism/communism in the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) had failed. 45 minutes.

Although not mentioned in the talk, it is also interesting to mention another failed socialist government. The NAZI party (NAZI translated from German is National Socialism) Socialism is used to gain control, complete central control of peoples, it seems so sweet at the onset, however it eliminates liberty and forces participation. To the hopeful central controllers, more important than what your day to day decisions are is who gets to decide. We are suffering from intrusions into every step of American life, how much water your toilet uses, which shower head you choose, and on and on, all for the “greater good”. Certainly, I am not saying Americans in favor of Socialism are Communists or Nazis, what I am saying is the peoples of Russia, Germany, Greece, Cambodia (Pol Pot) were entrapped by socialist ideals and all ended in failure. Literate Americans have the benefit of history in order to determine what is at the end of the socialists anti-capitalist path. We have the option of rejecting these failed ideals and avoiding the poverty and despair of Cuba, Russia, Germany and so many others. Some Americans make the argument that we can ignore history, that we never tried it fully and that’s why it will work for us, we are American’s after all. It seems a little aloof to consider oneself above history doesn’t it? One thing leads to another and so on, it is historic and undisputable, where it happens, it fails with sad results for everyone (except the ruling class).

Listen to Milton Friedman, he saw this in his own time. I wonder if he could have imagined we would have slipped so far by now? I think the answer is yes, he did imagine it, that is why he was giving these talks and warnings, trying to stem the tide of poverty and failure in socialist systems where the equality is sought and always achieved to an equal level of poverty for all of us.
