Deluxe Material Micro Balloons Filler are expanded glass beads, microscopic in size. They are so small, they have the appearance of powdered sugar and are extremely light. Lightweight "free flowing" white powder which is mixed with polyester or epoxy resin to make an easy sanding strong filler. Use to create snow effects (smaller than 1:48) with Scatter Grip glue (AD25 not included). The primary purpose of Micro Balloons is to expand and extend other adhesives in such a way that they can fill in voids or perhaps form things like wing fillets yet not be as heavy as solid glue or solid epoxy would be. Milled fibres are simply stirred into epoxy and polyester resins to thicken and improve their toughness, flexural strength, crack resistance and dimensional stability. They can also be used with thin cyanoacrylate by simply adding a couple of drops of thin penetrating ca (e.g. Roket Hot) to the Milled Fibre which will produce an extremely adhesive, hard & tough material.
