What the heck is a BEC? CC BEC Battery Eliminator Circuit is a little device that eliminates the need for a receiver and servo battery pack. It draws higher voltage from the motor batteries and drops it to a voltage level that is suitable for your receiver and servos. This is required in applications which draw high power for multiple servos or use more than 3S motor packs, as most ESCs with linear BECs are not designed for these applications. The CC BEC uses a Switch Rate method that is vastly more efficient than common circuits that sweat off much of your power through a heat sink. Peak Current Output: 10 amps Continuous Current Output: @12 Volts input 7amps, @ 24volts input 5 amps ** Output Voltage: 5.1 volts out of the package, user may set output voltage from 4.8 to 9 using the Castle Link (sold separately). Input Voltage: 5 to 25.2v (2S to 6S LiPo) Length: 1.2" (30mm), Width: .6" (15mm), Height: 4" (10mm) Weight: 0.4 oz (11 grams) **Ratings are determined with a 5mph airflow on the BEC. Servo connectors are not rated for current in excess of 5 amps. Users are encouraged to replace the connectors if more than 5 amp currents are anticipated. Modifications available below. For models containing digital servos (3D Heli's for sure!) which could demand currents 4 amps or more, increasing the output connection with double leads is strongly urged. SKU Number: CCBEC

Need a BEC to drive a really large load? Useful for high servo counts or many digital servos on larger craft. Use as a power supply aboard your UAV to drive sensor, transmitters or whatever your client has you testing. NOTE: CC BEC Pro should never be operated in series or parallel with another BEC or backup receiver pack connected to the RX/Servo side of the circuit. Size: 1.69" (43mm) x 1.3" (33mm) Height: 0.94" (24mm) Weight: 1 oz* (29g*) Max Amps: 20 amps peak** Max Volts: 2s to 6s LiPo Cars: 6s (25v), Airplanes: 10s (40v), Helicopters (with brake disabled): 12s (50v) Adjustable Output Voltage :4.8V to 12.5V *Weight without wires **Ratings are determined with a 5mph airflow on the BEC. Advice from Dave on setting voltage: For simulating a typical 4.8V RX pack set voltage 5.1 to 5.4. For simulating a 6V pack, set voltage to 6.4 to 6.8. Battery packs are not any set voltage but work over a range of voltages. Think about what your trying to simulate. A 4.8v pack is empty at about 4.4v, full at about 6v. A 6v pack is empty at 5.5 and full at about 7.5. For heli's where the tail servo and gyro won't take 6v packs, what the MFG is saying is it won't take 7.5V. Setting heli voltage to even 5.8 or 5.9 is fine as it just looks like a 4.8V pack hot off the charger. For older 2.4GHZ systems (Anything not Hitec/Airtronics and pre 2011 gear) we reccomend setting voltage to 5.4-6V range MINIMUM. SKU Number: CCBECPRO

This electronic Miracle Switch replaces the regular mechanical switch and includes a built in voltage regulator. Under normal condition, the switch functions like a regular switch. However, when the switch or its wires fail, the current continues to flow. The only way to turn it off under this condition is to disconnect the Rx battery pack. Large heat sink for optimum performance. Soft-mount Charge Switch can be relocated with a regular extension. Dual HD AWG22 input/output connectors to double current capacity and redundancy. Built-in regulator is factory preset to 5.95V output, fully adjustable between 5V to 6.5V. When input is higher than 6V or any set voltage, it will regulate to 6V or any set voltage. When input drop below set voltage, regulator is bypassed. Weight only 1.7 oz. Idle Current: 0.03 ma max. Current: At 7.4V input, 10Amp continuous, 20Amp max for 1 minutes. Input Range: 4.8V -12V. Note: Current capacity drops as input voltage increases. SKU Number: MPIACC405

The Dimension Engineering DE-SWADJ 3 is a larger version of our DE-SWADJ adjustable step down voltage regulator. Previously it was necessary to put multiple DE-SWADJ units in parallel to achieve ratings over 1A, which was bulky, expensive and carried with it a considerable increase in dropout voltage. The DE-SWADJ 3 is designed to be stronger, faster and better. It can process 3A of current, typical ripple is 25mV and under ideal circumstances the regulator can be up to 96% efficient. It continues the ease-of-use of the DE-SWADJ, making it simple to add an adjustable voltage source to a new or existing project with all the efficiency benefits of switch-mode power. The DE-SWADJ 3 is pin-compatible with the common 78XX family of linear voltage regulators, and has a small screw on top that allows you change the output voltage as your project evolves. It has integrated decoupling capacitors, so external capacitors are not generally necessary. DE-SWADJ3 can deliver a maximum of 25 Watts. The screw potentiometer on DE-SWADJ is worm-gear driven, so small vibrations and movement will not cause the voltage to shift. Use of glue to hold the screw in place is strongly discouraged and could damage the device. Product Specs: Model: DE-SWADJ3 Performance: Adjustable from 3 to 13V output using screw 3A output at 3 to 8V (Please see datasheet for current ratings at higher voltages) >90% efficiency 1.2V typical dropout voltage, 2.0v maximum at full load Applications: Battery powered applications Robots Battery charging Electronics prototyping Powering multiple servos at their max rated voltage

AnyVolt Micro is a miniature step-up / step-down switching DC-DC converter. The output is adjustable from 2.6V to 14V and currents up to 0.5A can be drawn. AnyVolt Micro is useful when you need to step from a lower voltage to a higher voltage, or when your input voltage occasionally dips below the output voltage. The output voltage is set with a small screw potentiometer on the side of the AnyVolt Micro. Once the output voltage is set, it does not matter whether input voltage is higher, lower, or the same as the desired output i.e. there is no dropout voltage. The AnyVolt Micro is pin-compatible with the common 78XX series of linear voltage regulators, so it will work with breadboards and other popular prototyping methods. AnyVolt Micro is very different from any other DC-DC converter on the market so please read the entire datasheet thoroughly before buying or using one. AnyVolt Micro is the smaller, lighter and cheaper successor to AnyVolt Mini. It also adds thermal, overcurrent and short circuit protection, making it very hard to kill (like zombies). Never soldered before? You might like our breakout boards. Product Specs Model: AnyVolt Micro Performance: 2.6V to 14V output voltage range 2.6V to 14V input voltage range 0.5A max input or output current at < 10V (please see datasheet for current ratings at higher voltages) <50mV typical ripple No external components needed Protective features: Overcurrent protection Thermal (overheating) protection Shorted output protection Applications: Lab work and prototyping Powering 9V and 12V video transmitters Powering small audio amplifiers Driving multiple LEDs in series Backlit LCD drive Solar powered applications High power crystal based radio transmitters Battery powered applications Renewable energy source applications Universal battery charger Powering things from two AA batteries Powering things from a single lithium cell USB powered mayhem Weight:3g / 0.1oz SKU Number: DEANYVOLT

Align describes this products as a 5.1V regulator. It's functionality is more of a voltage clipper in that it takes about .25v off the top of whatever you pass through it. If you have a servo that is a bit jittery at the top of the battery pack charge, you can use this product inline to clip off .25v and it will likely solve your problem. This is not a regulator, it's a useful product for some applications but like many things from China, not exactly what they say it is. ;-) SKU Number: K10381A
