Micro Lite: This type of wire is used most commonly in applications with small servos (.5 oz weight or less usually) in park flyers, foamies, sailplanes, DLG's and other models with low servo loads. You can save a bunch of weight eliminating beefy stock wiring from these smaller models.
26 Gauge Standard: This wire is what you find in most new radio sets and on most mid size to full size standard torque 4 screw mountable servos. This ribbon wire size is a good wire choice for those types of servos (and smaller) if the runs are 24" or less. Good for smaller servos in long runs such as sailplane wings and similar. For example, great for you 60" cub but use 2o gauge your outfitting a 100" Cub.
22 Gauge Heavy Duty: Use for all larger models and any place a high torque or digital servo might be used. Use for standard torque servos if your runs are very long (over 24")
The Nifty Plug & Socket Keeper is a great little item that will avoid the accidental disconnection of the servo cable plug and sockets within the model. They are simple to attach to the plug and socket units. The Keepers are attached to the female sockets. The tang that extends over the plug has two teeth that go behind the rear of the plug and straddle the center wire. They will prevent vibration from separating the plug and socket, however, they will separate in the event of a crash. This separation avoids additional damage to the plug and socket cables. The Keepers are brightly colored for safety and small enough to pass through wing tubes etc.
SportBEC is the higher capacity version of our best-selling ParkBEC product. SportBEC powers your receiver and servos much more efficiently than a standard BEC. As many as 8 servos can be powered without worrying about an overheating BEC. SportBEC works great up to very high voltages, and is especially suited for "sport" aircraft and glow conversions. SportBEC is usually a necessity at 4s and above when running high torque or digital servos.
SportBEC's output is selectable between 5V/6V using a small slide switch. The 6V setting gives more speed and torque to the servos, and is especially useful for helicopter flyers. A red LED indicates when 6V is selected.
Many people don't realize that their ESC's BEC rating is misleading. With the linear BEC built into most speed controls, the current rating decreases as pack voltage increases. For example, several popular 25A ESCs with "3A" BECs are only capable of supplying 0.5A when running from a 3s pack. Because it is an efficient switching regulator, SportBEC can supply its full rated current of 3.5A all the way up to 8s.
Many design hours were spent on SportBEC to ensure it does not create radio interference. It uses a shielded inductor and optimized layout, so you can use it without fear of glitching.
SportBEC installs between your ESC and receiver, so you don't have to modify your speed control to disable its internal BEC.
For best results, ensure that the SportBEC is installed at least 2 inches away from your receiver and antenna.
Additional notes If you are using small servos make sure they can run at 6v. Some sub-micros, notably the Hitec HS-50 and Futaba S3154, can be damaged by a 6v supply.

We can hand make extensions and adapters to almost any specification. Choose from drop down menus your preferences. Generally we size these by measuring from the back of each connector. So the overall length will be greater by connector shell length. Twisted wire can be adjusted slightly in length by changing the number of twists. We try to get within about 1/2" of your spec. Please order long enough to compensate for minor variance.
Note: 3,6,12,18,24,36, & 40" (3,6,10" Micro Lite) are stock machine made sizes and are lower cost, find them in the connector category to fit your specific brand. Check there first to see if any stock sizes will meet your needs.

The stock factory tail wheel setup on a slow stick is weak. Use this light weight mounting block to build a steerable tail wheel mount. Bend your wire gear out of .055 music wire (Part # KS503) and your all set. Notice in the photo how simply we connected ours to the rudder pushrod. What? No glow line in the field box? We've got that material also. Combine with a .063 (1/16") wheel collar (Part # DUB137)to lock the wire in place (works like our nose gear retainer) and your all set.
Notice the bending pattern (non critical) that we are setting it up so the elevator is 1.5-2" off the ground. The idea is to leave a little range for shock absorbsion so you don't strip a servo gear if you smack the tail. It's not only about having stearing. ;-)
Dimensions: 0.96 x 0.43 x 0.96 in. (24 x 11 x 24mm) Weight w/Wire: 8.4grams/0.3 oz. Torque (4.8V) 1.5kg-cm/21 oz.in. Transit Time: (4.8V)0.12 sec./60?.
Comes with universal connector, two control arms, & mounting screws.
