Brass Strip from K and S
Brass strip is a versatile shop material, easy to cut, bend, and solder, which makes it useful for tabs, brackets, straps, and small fittings on RC models. This category stocks K & S brass strip in a spread of sizes to suit both light detail work and sturdier bracing.
Thicknesses and Widths
The strip runs from .025 inch up to .064 inch thick, in widths ranging from 1/4 inch to 2 inch, all in handy 12 inch lengths. Thinner, narrow strip bends readily for detail parts, while thicker or wider pieces hold their shape for load bearing tabs and reinforcements.
Because brass solders cleanly, these strips join well to brass tube and wire for building up custom fittings and hardware, and they file and sand to shape without much fuss when a part needs trimming to fit.
