Our newest kit! The Stick 600 is the same average size of .40 glow powered Sticks. We left all the ARF out of this one and as a result you can beat the weight of other Sticks by 1.5-3 pounds. Yes, I said POUNDS! The Stick 600 is the lightest weight 40 size Stick (40 size in terms of wing area) that has ever been commercially produced. Build one of these and you will have a unique and rare bird. Flying one will sell you forever on the "light is right" concept. This model easily fits in a ball field if your space is confined. Low wing loading means minimum speed will be similar to many park fliers giving the Stick 600 the widest speed envelope of any of our Stick series kits. Like our other kits in this series, parts are provide for Sport or Eindecker like tails and wing tips. Both in photo were built with sport parts.
This model is everything you expect a Stick to be and everything you expect in a Radical RC kit. Construction is fully interlocking and completely self jigging. It is actually possible to build 90% of the kit prior to applying any adhesive. In fact, most of the assembly is squeezing together friction fit -n- tab self jigged assemblies and applying thin CA sparingly at the conclusion of each assembly. Fit is so good, only the most minimal amount of sanding is needed prior to finish application.
Model is designed specifically for E-power. Predrilled firewalls are included as are blank firewalls and a more short nose mounting location if you want to go glow. I warn you, a hot .25 is all you want here, it's weight is that of a .20 size model in a .40 size fame. Also, the nose is a bit too long to balance with a 16oz lump of a .40 or .46 engine up front. And, it's not needed since you finished glow flying weight will be about 2lbs 14oz on glow. (Not a misprint! Real world weight 2oz under 3lbs are typical).
Instructions include complete breakdown on motor system choices and theory for this model. Because it's so light weight, you can have a legitimate 3S system here. Our prototypes are flying on 3S (foreground) and 4S (background).
Model is built with conventional 2 servo - 2 aileron wing. May be upgraded to 4 servo 3D wing with our 3D Surface Kit. With 3D Surface Kit you can run 2 servo big ailerons or 4 servo split aileron/flaperon combo. Expanded surface for elevator and rudder included as in photo. Note, the 3D Surfaces Kit only works with the "Sport" Vertical Stab. Recommending HS-81 or similar servos.
International buyers, kit box is 37" long and may only be shipped Priority International Mail. Kit only to Canada and Mexico roughly $32, Australia $43, UK $38, Japan $40, you get the idea. Approximate weight of boxed kit is 3lbs, ran shipping estimates based on 3lbs 6oz.
Tired of your Slow Stick tail bending, flapping in the wind at your higher than normal speed? Wishing for more rigid control? Here is your ultimate tail upgrade!! This tail will not flutter and is many times more rugged than the stock tail. If your worried about tail loads lifting heavy weights, flying fast or just plain love the idea of Slow Sticks but hate foam, welcome to heaven.
A fully self jigging stick built tail. You can press this together and shake it up in the air hard as you like, nothing is falling apart. I'm tempted to cover one without glue for experimental (show off ;-) purposes. However, I do recommend you glue it together. Simply piece the jigsaw together, hold to flat surface and wick thin CA into all the joints, bevel the elevator and rudder 45 degrees for tape hinges (or 90 degree points for CA hinges), round out the edges, surface sand, cover, mount, hook up control rods and fly.
Kit comes as complete package with our custom upgrade horn set and vertical stab mount system. ($6 upgrades value) and instructional drawing. Parts are exact stock shape (except no hard to cover scallops) and hinge lines. Laser cut from 3/16 balsa right here in the good ol' USA. Mounting holes and control horn holes are all pre-made. Your tail will go on straight and true. Additionally, the stab mount has provisions for moving the stab forward from stock location in order to give you more elevator throw if your building an aerobatic monster. Fully compatible with Stevens Aero or Millennium upgrade kits.
Don't forget to get some transparent covering for this kit, she is a real beauty when complete.

This "mighty mini" can take on the most extreme maneuvers while keeping it's cool. Talon 35 is intended for use in 450 Heli setups running up to 6S or .10 to .20 fixed wing applications pulling up to 35 amps and boasts a 7 amp peak/5 amp continuous BEC, keeping even the most draining servos at ease. Talon 35 also offers Castle's industry-leading helicopter functions, not to mention easy programming using the Castle Link USB adapter (coupon included). The compact layout and thin profile make mounting Talon 35 simple and stress-free in any setup.

*RC HOBBY APPLICATION RATING: 55 amps for the duration of a single 4,000 mAh battery pack with the ESC in contact with a 5 mph airflow of 25C (77F) or cooler air. Controller temperature must never exceed 100C (212F). Exceeding current or temperature ratings may damage components and may shorten the life of the ESC. Always verify system current draw at full-throttle. Decrease load or increase airflow to decrease the ESC's operating temperature.
**Peak indicates amperage sustainable for most servos' current draw transients. Always confirm servo current draw before the first flight of the model.
Custom Extension as listed above except Male to Male plug. Used for some power box and other misc uses. This custom extension will have 2 ends that look just like a servo end.
Micro Lite: This type of wire is used most commonly in applications with small servos (.5 oz weight or less usually) in park flyers, foamies, sailplanes, DLG's and other models with low servo loads. You can save a bunch of weight eliminting beefy stock wiring from these smaller models.
26 Gauge Standard: This wire is what you find in most new radio sets and on most mid size to full size standard torque 4 screw mountable servos. This ribbon wire size is a good wire choice for those types of servos (and smaller) if the runs are 24" or less. Good for smaller servos in long runs such as sailplane wings and similar. For example, great for you 60" cub but use 20 gauge your outfitting a 100" Cub.
22 Gauge Heavy Duty: Use for all larger models and anyplace a high torque or digital servo might be used. Use for standard torque servos if your runs are very long (over 24")
(Note, old Futaba G parts are made with 26 guage pigtails regardless of wire choice)
Did you ever get to see a Wright Flyer fly? Did you ever dream that someday you'd get to wiggle the wings on a Wright machine? I'm betting during all those many months of testing, planning, designing our famous Wrights went to bed wondering what it would be like. Then they did it. Now, you can do it. This conversion kit combined with the parts from two GWS Slow Stick slope glider kits (no longer available, discontinued by GWS) will produce a sport scale 1905 Wright Flyer. This model from the side view is scale having all the struts the original had. Omitted are all the flying wires and control cables. All the fiddly bits included on a perfect scale model (that break every time you land one) are gone. My intention was to design a model you could fly 10 times in a day if you liked and not once or twice a year for special occasions as you'd probably choose to do with a pure scale model.
How does it work? If you look close you can see our unobtrusive elevator servo (we used a GWS Pico) on the canard support strut. This servo drives the top canard which in turn, drives the bottom canard through a simple transfer rod. The canards move up and down together on thier own individual pivots like the original 1905 flyer. The rudder servo is adhered to the bottom of the bottom wing with a Dubro Micro Push rod (1/32 wire in clear plastic tube) driving the rudder. The rudder moves like the original 1905, both together. Perhaps the most exciting feature is this model flys with real wing warping. The outside wing strut assembly has a servo hidden under the bottom wing driving a diagonal rod that appears to be a simple bracing rod in the scale location. Forget the Eindecker like wings, wouldn't it be gross if this model didn't turn by real wing warping? You're going to love this feature every time you show how it works.
How does it fly? I was amazed, after some initial hiccups working out the right setup. We've refined CG and throws until it flies more or less like you'd expect a trainer to fly. It is a bit draggy so you tend to fly with a middle throttle position most of the time and you will want to be comfortable flying with both hands as this design likes rudder inputs. However, you'll soon agree it flies like a trainer. Provided in the kit is the CG you need along with servo horn lengths, control throws and even exactly where to trim the canard for that first flight.
How does it build? This is not a normal kit, it's mostly nut and bolting with some foam trimming and fitting here and there a little gluing and some finishing (staining). If like me, your favorite ever childhood toy was an Erector set, you're about to feel young again! Now I know you hated those square nuts and slot head screws (I did) so we included all hex wrench driven button heads and ny-lock nuts. There is a surprising amount of aircraft ply in this kit. The main structure starts out as a 24"x24" section of 1/8" thick air ply (cuts slower on a laser) and it's packed tightly with many parts. Needless to say, there is a lot of laser cutting time here. It has the longest hardware list of any kit we've ever designed and the longest instruction set I've ever written including several drawings/templates. Ron, who built both of our in-house prototype models said he needs 3 work days to complete one. So, please plan enough time, it's very important to us that you actually finish it and get it flying. I want to hear the joy in your voice and see the pride on your face when you tell me about it at the next show.
Whats included? All the hardware needed that isn't already in the Slow Stick kits is included here. All fasteners are good quality allen head bolts with lock nuts. There are 88 washers and you can guess how many nuts and bolts.
What do you need to complete? Add 2 motors (max 2oz, 800-1200 KV), 2 stick type motor mounts, 2 ESC's, APC counter rotating prop set, electronics (2 each 6 gram servos, 2 each 20oz torque servos (we used HB-65's), and 1 each 3S battery 1800-2200mah. Extensions and Y's. For motors under 1000 kv, use 10-4.7 props, 1000-1200 kv use 10-3.8 props.

An advanced trainer that's so much fun, it's SPOOKY!
When we designed the GHOST, we envisioned a trainer that could do more than the typical boring trainer. The GHOST needed to offer you the opportunity to train, advance, and even have fun - all with the same airframe. And that's just what we've accomplished.
To start, the GHOST has been designed as an easy-to-build model with a wealth of laser-cut parts. Actually, most every part used in the GHOST's construction is already pre-cut for you out of hand-selected lite-ply and balsa woods.
The wing is a flat-bottomed airfoil which is a cinch to build using our exclusive laser-cut WEB-LOCK construction that not only gives you proper rib spacing, but also holds each rib at a true 90? to the building surface, without the need for additional tools.
The fuselage is also an easy build as we've engineered the fuselage sides with slots to lock in each former at the right spot - and angle. Also, we've integrated our Multi-Size Servo mounts into the fuselage sides which makes mounting the rudder, elevator, servos a breeze (and throttle - if using glow).
<
Power can come from either glow or electric powerplants and there's a large, magnetic, top hatch which gives you quick access to the batteries and/or fuel tank.
At first, the GHOST might appear to be just a Good Honest Old School Trainer. But as they say "Wait, there's more!".
Flaps are included - a first for an OSMW kit. These are quite effective and can slow the GHOST to a crawl in the air. Choose to install them during the initial build, or they can be added at any other time - even after you've flown the GHOST for a while!
The GHOST's tall and wide main gear makes taking off from paved or grass surfaces quite easy. Throttle up, and you'll find the GHOST takes to the air in a surprisingly short rollout.
At lower throttle settings, the GHOST is slow and stable in the air, making it easy for a new pilot to learn how to navigate the skies. Throttle up the GHOST a bit and you'll start to open up more capabilities, including some fun barnstorming. At even higher speeds, the GHOST can perform a surprising amount of aerobatics to wow the crowds.
And all of this with the same airframe that many would write off as "simply a trainer".
Even when the wind gets a bit gusty, the GHOST's smooth flying characteristics will give you the confidence you need. When it comes time to land, simply lower the throttle and gently glide down to the runway. Again, no surprises, which is just what you want in any design.
And after you've mastered flying the GHOST, add to it's capabilities by adding in one of our Fun Fly Bay kits (available separately). Once assembled, these kits will bolt up through the bottom of the GHOST's fuselage. Like the GHOSTS's flaps, these kits can be added (or swapped out) at any time - even after you've flown for a while. For more information on these kits, check out the right hand column.

Our Raider is not just another Stik. It's a Stik with options!
The year was 1965. Phil Kraft, the man behind Kraft radios, needed a model that was quick and easy-to-build as a testbed for his radios. Little did he know he would design one of the most renowned models of all time - the Ugly Stik. Our Raider is part of our new Pirate Stik line, and it's based on Phil's proven design - with the same dimensions, airfoil, and great flying characteristics.
We have completely updated the airframe with laser-cut and self-aligning parts - we even include a wing jig to help you easily build both wing halves. The fuselage is built around a self-aligning, light-weight box for added strength. Surrounding this is the outer balsa skin, which is strong, lightweight, and twist-resistant even when performing high-stress maneuvers. The balsa/ply airframe makes the Raider an uncomplicated, lightweight, and easy-to-build aerobat.
The wing is removable, giving access to the extra-large cabin area. From there, you have easy access to install most any brand of radio and control linkages. We've also designed in a large hatch that covers the spacious battery/tank compartment.
What's more, you have options right out of the box.
Power it with Glow, Gas, or Electric.
Ailerons and elevator can have Straight or traditional Scalloped edges.
Make it a Tri-cycle or Tail-Dragger.
You can even incorporate Flaps for even slower flight.
The best way to describe the Raider in the air is wide-ranging. With low throws and power, it can easily be used as an intermediate trainer. With average throws and power, it becomes a great every-day sport airplane. And with higher power and throws, the Raider becomes a great fun-fly machine, even capable of some precision aerobatics in the hands of an experienced pilot.
Our Old School Model Work's Raider is a Senior Pattern Association and Vintage R/C Society legal design for vintage and retro pattern competitions.

This bushing set allows you to build the hard points for mounting simple shaft type struts into your Slow Stick Biplane conversion wing panels. Made from 1/64" thick aircraft ply. Rods are not included. You can use carbon, fiberglass, aluminum or brass tubing as we did. I think lightly stained 1/8" wood dowel would look very trick as well; anything about 1/8" diameter. I choose the more antique look of the brass on my biplane. I wonder if my more period correct SS Biplane would qualify for Top Gun now?
Installing these hard points still allows you to use the wing panels on other monoplanes. The strut shafts are passed through the hard point with a section of glow fuel line pressed on the shaft and slid up against the hard point on both top and bottom.
Locate where you like, we put ours on the high point of the airfoil (about 2 3/4" back from leading edge) and in the middle of the second section of sagging cloth (what the wing shape simulates) as counted in from the wing tip. Mark these spots carefully, glue the teardrop shaped piece on top of each wing panel. Now, mount your wings on your airframe. We cut our rods to 10 1/2" as this seems to leave the right amount sticking through. By hand carefully cut or drill your 1/8" pass through hole for the rod. Now, slip two 1/4" long sections of fuel line about 1.5" onto each end of a strut shaft. Place a 1/4" ply washer on each shaft end followed by the oval washer. Now install the rod between the wing panels. Slide the oval washer up to the bottom of each wing (orient it span-wise) and glue in place. When this has set, glue the 1/4" washer in place over the oval washer. Glue in place the 1/4" washer on the top surface (on the teardrop). The rods are now held in place with two more sections of fuel line on the tip. Using the rods as a jig to align the strut bushings (hard-points) is a real help. As you can see the rods go through the wing at an angle because of dihedral.

Fast, but not too fast. Maneuverable, agile and responsive - but not tricky. A snap to build - and with a fully sheeted airframe, surprisingly rugged compared to most.
Don't let the lack of landing gear scare you. Hand launching is easy because of the fuselage's light weight and strengthened design. In the air, it really looks the part without any exposed gear to detract from its clean lines. Bringing the One-O-Nine in for a belly landing on grass is just as easy.
You should see them take evasive maneuvers in Dog Fighting. Evade with snap rolls into spins, Immelmann turns and a loop. OSM's One-O-Nine kit is part of our Sunday Fighter lineup and just might be the most fun you've had in a long time.
Because of the interlocking design and high quality laser cutting of the parts, the Sunday Fighter is a quick build. Not only does it build quick, but it also builds straight and true as all of the parts are designed to align properly with a minimum of fuss and alignment tools.
The wing is removable for storage/transport and for giving access to the radio/servo area. From there you have easy access to install most any brand of radio and control linkages.
What's more, the fully assembled model can fit in the trunk of most cars.
Although mainly designed for electric power, you can also use a .25-sized glow engine as well. Glow engines are side mounted. Electric motors are mounted on the "extended" firewall to space the motor the proper distance forward.
When assembled, you now have a blank canvas and can apply any number of color schemes, or make up your own.
In the air, the One-O Nine is a blast to fly. A simple hand-launch gets it airborne, then you can cruise quite easily and 1/2 power. Throttle up for loops, eights, snaps, spins, hammerhead turnaounds - or maybe a screaming low-level pass, right down the runway. When you're ready to land, simply throttle back and gently bring the One-O Nine in for a belly landing on the grass.
This is just one design in our growing Sunday Fighter series.

The stock battery mount for the slow stick is a little finicky to use. We believe it was made originally for 350 NiCads. Our mount fixes several issues. First, it has plenty of surface area if you like to use mounting Velcro. It is slotted and includes Velcro tie straps. It will retain these tie straps when the battery is not in place so no worries about them getting lost. Second, there are multiple places to easily hook on rubber bands. Any way you like to mount your battery is accommodated well with this mount.
Our long length mount will hold most any pack around 2500 or less in capacity in the normal long or short profile. Any pack 4.5" long (114mm) or less fits nicely.
Mount stands off slightly from the fuse boom so it may be positioned to overlap our wing mounts, main gear mounts even the motor mount if you like a forward location better. We have used this mount to suspend the battery above the boom also. It could also be used for "side" mounting if you need to balance against a camera or other onboard device that is off center.

Historically, the full-scale Smith Miniplane is one of the designs that helped start the modern homebuilding era. Originally designed and built in 1957 by Frank Smith of Fullerton, California, the Miniplane was an early example of engineering with the amateur homebuilder and weekend pilot in mind. It could be constructed with tools easily within reach of the average craftsman, and in the air it was stable and easy to fly. The top wing spanned 17 ft., and the empty weight was a mere 600 pounds. Powered by a 100hp Lycoming, the tiny Miniplane cruised at 120 mph, climbed at a fantastic 2,500 ft. per minute, and was highly aerobatic. It was just what many sportsman pilots were looking for!
R/C Sport Scale BiPlane
In 1974, Glen Sigafoose, then President of Sig Mfg. Co., acquired a complete Smith Miniplane to use for aerobatic practice. Glen's beautiful red, white, and black aircraft was the inspiration for this mini version of the Miniplane.
Fast, but not too fast. Maneuverable, but not tricky. A snap to build and surprisingly rugged compared to most. The original Sunday Fighters were the brainchild of Ken Willard back in the early 1970's. His were small, .049 powered 3-channel models and proved quite popular. Now, we've taken this idea, enlarged, and re-engineered them to make them as much fun to build as they are to fly.
You should see them take evasive maneuvers in Dog Fighting. Evade with snap rolls into spins, Immelmann turns and a loop. Our radio-controlled Sunday Fighter airplane kits just might be the most fun you've had in a long time.
Because of the interlocking design and high quality laser cutting of the parts, the Sunday Fighter is a quick build. Not only does it build quick, but it also builds straight and true as all of the parts are designed to align properly with a minimum of fuss and alignment tools.
The wings are removable for storage/transport and for giving access to the extra large cabin area. From there you have easy access to install most any brand of radio and control linkages. However, the fully assembled model can fit in the trunk of most mid-sized cars.
Up-front, we've designed in a hatch that covers the battery/tank compartment. This area will easily handle 3s packs and 6 ounce tanks.
Whether you choose to power your Sunday with electric or glow power, we've got you covered. Glow engines can be mounted side, inverted or even upright with a little modification. Electric motors can be mounted using the included Motor Box which will help space your motor to the proper distance.
Go true "old-school" with 3 channel control, or opt for functional ailerons (4 channel).
There are two Sunday Fighters - the German version you see here, and the British version you can see at this link.

The Stevens AeroModel SQuiRT provides a solid platform for your student pilot to learn on. Speed 400 Primary Trainer for 3ch. Simple one evening construction allows you to get airborne quickly. Innovative shock absorbing gear and wing mounting system make crash damage exceptionally rare. In-fact, we have found this model to out perform any foamy in it's class in terms of flight performance and ruggedness. Rugged doesn't have to mean overweight as our 38" span Squirt weighs in at a lean 13.5-14oz with a 1500mah lipo and well under 16oz with a KAN 650 7 cell NIMH.
Thoughtful design and innovative beginner friendly features abound. Tab and notch construction makes building a straight and true wing and fuselage as easy as pouring as gluing your fingers together! The kit includes a full hardware pack loaded with high quality Du-Bro hardware, Wheels, Full-Size Plan Sheet, Pre-Bent Landing gear, a detailed step by step photo illustrated instruction manual, the kit even includes an excerpt on primary aerobatics derived under license from the RC Pilot Guide written by Scott M. Stoops.
Flying the Squirt is a great pleasure even in windy conditions that will send the other slow fliers packing. Additionally, the positive stability of this model allows the instructor to trim for level flight and hand over the controls to the student pilot. If the pilot looses control all that is necessary to regain control is reduce power and center the sticks - The Squirt will rapidly return to level flight!
