Rod Stock Policy: In order to include long skinny products at our very favorable shipping rates: All USA orders that contain rod-stock items need to contain at least 6 rods. Rod stock is anything over 30". This would include Music Wire, Carbon Rods of any kind, larger Pushrod kits, brass or aluminum rods and anything else of that nature. Thinner items like carbon strips .5mm thick, sub 1mm diameter carbon rods and music wire .020 or thinner ordered in quantities less than 6 rods total will be shipped coiled. Unless otherwise stated, all carbon rod stock is pull-truded construction grade. The resin is heat cured as the fibers are pulled through a die of the proper shape. Sizes are approximate usually within 5%.
All pushrods are found here. Select by size sub category below or in left column under "Pushrods".
300mm long (12"). 3mm Metric threads. Plastic 4-40 clevis's will thread onto this wire nicely. Thread is metric and won't work with metal pre-threaded 4-40 clevises. Use to repair import models, here is the correct metric rod.
Glue on to 2.5mm carbon or solder onto 2.5mm metal rod. Actual ID 2.65mm (.103"). Could also be soldered on to non-threaded end of roll-threaded 4-40 pushrod material or 3/32 music wire. Overall Length 33mm, threaded portion 16mm. 2 per package.
Pushrods carry servo movement out to the control surfaces, and this category gathers 3mm RC pushrods and carbon rod hardware for building or lengthening them. The 3mm size is a common choice for a stiff, light linkage on mid-size models.
Threaded Pushrods and Ends
The RRC 3mm pushrod is threaded on one end for a clevis, and a separate 3mm threaded rod end and 3mm all-thread give more ways to finish a linkage. These let you set the clevis position and overall length to suit the model.
Carbon Tube Couplers
For carbon rod linkages, 3mm carbon tube couplers step down to 2mm and 2.5mm threads, joining a carbon pushrod to smaller threaded hardware. This keeps the run light while still allowing a standard clevis or keeper at the control horn.
Choose the pushrod and couplers that fit your linkage from the parts here, matching the thread size to your existing clevises.
