PARBOND 5 Minute 4 Ounce Epoxy

PARBOND 5 Minute 4 Ounce Epoxy

High Quality 5 Minute Epoxy. Use epoxy where a strong non-brittle bond is required. Firewalls, landing gear blocks, wing hold down bolt blocks, fuel proofing and on sensitive materials like foam. 5 minute epoxy is best for quick repairs and new model construction where lots of working time is not required.

Hint! If you mix your epoxy on a flexible surface, like a paper plate you can go back to the mixture a week later and flex it. If it cracks easily then your not getting the portions mixed properly or failing to mix them enough. A good epoxy joint is very strong yet somewhat flexible. If the puddle of glue cracks it means it is hard like glass and not giving you the best qualities of the glue. Using a paper plate flex test is a good way to follow your own progress and improve your glue mixing skills. If your resin feels hardened inside the bottle, just warm it in the microwave for 10 seconds or so and you'll be good to go!

PARBOND 30 Minute 4 ounce Epoxy

PARBOND 30 Minute 4 ounce Epoxy

High Quality 30 Minute Epoxy. Use epoxy where a strong non-brittle bond is required. Firewalls, landing gear blocks, wing hold down bolt blocks, fuel proofing and on sensitive materials like foam. 30 minute epoxy is best for quick repairs and new model construction where lots of working time is required. Also excellent for wetting out small fiber glass sections.

Hint! Need your joint to cure a little faster? Take a covering heat shrink gun to the joint and warm it up. Be carefull, the heat will at first cause the epoxy to become thinner, it might run out of the joint and make a mess. Also, be warned! A little heat goes a long way and can cause your glue to dry faster than you had planned. You can also preheat the glue before applying to the parts or pre heat the parts. And, if your resin feels hardened inside the bottle, just warm it in the microwave for 10 seconds or so and you'll be good to go!

Slow-Cure(TM) 30 Min. Epoxy

Slow-Cure(TM) 30 Min. Epoxy

SLOW-CURE(TM) 30 min. epoxy works best for forming reinforcing fillets on joints. It has the highest strength of our epoxies. It is waterproof and more heat resistant. SLOW-CURE(TM) can be used for bonding if you're willing to wait overnight. Fillers such as microballoons can be mixed with SLOW-CURE(TM) and FINISH-CURE(TM) to form a putty-like consistency. Such fillers will usually decrease the working time by about 25%. Bonded objects can be handled after 8 hours and the cured epoxy reaches full strength within 24 hours.

Works Best On:
  • Glass & Metal
  • Fiberglass
  • White Foam
  • Water-Resistant
  • Reinforcing

Works Good On:

  • Balsa Wood
  • Soft Wood
  • Hard Wood
  • Hard Plastics
  • Laminating

DIRECTIONS:

SLOW-CURE(TM) 30 min. Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals.

SLOW-CURE(TM) has the highest strength of our epoxies and should be applied in temperatures above 70°F. SLOW-CURE(TM) maintains its strength in both the lowest and highest temperature ranges of our line of epoxies.

SLOW-CURE(TM) bonds best to clean, textured surfaces. Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion. Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces. SLOW-CURE(TM) works best for forming reinforcing fillets on joints and can be mixed with micro balloons or other fillers to form putty-like consistency. SLOW-CURE(TM) is waterproof and forms superior bonds if you're willing to wait overnight. It has better penetration of porous surfaces for better bonding. Full cure in 6-8 hours.

Quik-Cure(TM) 5 Min. Epoxy

Quik-Cure(TM) 5 Min. Epoxy

QUIK-CURE(TM) 5 min. epoxy cures to a slightly flexible consistency. This lack of brittleness allows it to form a lasting bond in areas subjected to high vibration or stress.

QUIK-CURE(TM) shouldn't be used in areas that are subject to long-term immersion in water; however, it works fine for the internal structure of wood framed boats.

QUIKCURE(TM) is our only epoxy on which you can apply polyester resins. It can be mixed with microballoons to form a quick setting putty. Items bonded with QUIK-CURE(TM) can be handled after 15 minutes. Full strength is reached in 1 hour.

Works Best On:

  • Hard Wood
  • Glass & Metal

Works Good On:

  • Balsa Wood
  • Soft Wood
  • Fiberglass
  • Ceramics
  • Hard Plastics
  • White Foam
  • Reinforcing

DIRECTIONS:

QUIK-CURE(TM) 5 min. Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals.

QUIK-CURE(TM) is the least temperature sensitive of our epoxies. It will cure in temperatures down to 40°F. Temperatures above 90°F shorten the working time before the epoxy begins to set up from 5 to less than 4 minutes.

QUIK-CURE(TM) bonds best to clean, textured surfaces. Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion. Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces. QUIK-CURE'S(TM) lack of brittleness allows it to form lasting bonds on materials as different as balsa wood and glass; however, it is not recommended for areas subject to long-term immersion in water. Cured QUIK-CURE(TM) can be coated with polyester resin without affecting the curing of the resin. Full cure in less than 15 minutes.
